I bought the directors chair for the sole purpose of supporting a request for a major Photo Shoot. Since I did not know what the product would look like when it arrived I had high hopes. [...] Upon inspection I found that it was not and assembled the item. Now when I buy certain products it is for a location to location move and needs to be broken down as needed. The chair at current is not designed for this and became an issue. What was done to fix the situation was a simple add of a door lock latch instead of a single rod. The latch allowed the easy breakdown and setup and was sturdy enough to handle required operations. The cost for our latch was about $2.50 per latch. IT might be a good thought if other customers have my idea in mind.

I bought this to use on film sets. It is not something I would recommend to anyone for any use. It is poorly made, narrower than your average chair, the foot rest is designed by a moron, the fabric seat and back are already sagging and it is uncomfortable. NOT A GOOD VALUE.

The bottom canvas slots, could have been bored out more, hard to slide canvas in.
