If you're unsure whether this replacement cover set will work with your directors chair, check the seat canvas insert guides. The insert guides will either be flat, round, or square sticks on the chair back, not to be confused with square dowel construction which refers to the connector joints if squared or rounded. Directors chair covers are designed to fit tightly. If chair braces do not fully open easily, sit in the chair until material stretches slightly, then extend braces.
- Remove cover and wash in cold water using a mild soap and a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Return both canvas seat and back onto chair frame while still wet.
- Allow to air dry.
