A timeless design from the 19th century, sets the Classic 18 Inch Director Chair apart from the rest. This director chair may be ordered in Natural, Walnut, Black, or White finishes. The sturdy contoured legs and shapely arms are accented with gold tone rust resistant hardware. Wood joints are hand fitted with steel pin and glue construction. The 14 oz cotton canvas fabric covers are available in 12 colors and are finished with color-fast dies to insure bleed free silk-screening.  Load tested to 300 lbs., this director chair folds compactly for easy packing and storage.

Assembly

To install the seat and back on your directors chair frame, please open up your chair frame approximately half way, so to allow the fabric to fit loosely onto the frame and then open up the chair once all fabric portions are applied. For additional information please consult the attached assembly instructions in Adobe PDF format.

Care

Since this is a died cotton fabric, it will fade quickly when exposed to direct sunlight for long periods.

      Solid Construction, however you will be disappointed in the surface finish.
      Rough spots, chips on wood, dowels not well finished. The style is great, but sorry to say the quality control in the factory is poor. I would recommend, but with caution.

        This is a VERY sturdy chair, and fairly well constructed. No wobble at all. However, I got the white finish and spent quite a lot of time touching up uneven and rough paint blobs scattered all over the piece. I would rate the white finish POOR. I should have just got the natural, and painted it myself. Had to sand down a few places on the piece, too as edges were splintered and rough. But it is an attractively designed chair. The canvas back and seat are nothing to brag about..ordinary.
