The back canvas does not come off, it has a rivet on both sides. There is one piece of Canvas on the back of the chair, the other side is the backing of the canvas. I was going to put a logo on the chair it is not possible. Nice Chair for the price but not extra quality.

I like this style of chair because the seat holds firm and you don't feel like you are climbing out of a hole getting in and out of it.

Just bought the chair after an internet search. It appears to deliver. Was looking for a sturdy director's chair that would support heavy weights and would be useful in camping. The price was so much better than those at other camping sites. I am happy with the purchase.
